Location and hotels
The venue for the Interplanetary CubeSat Workshop changes each year. Directions
We recommend that you arrive by public transport (metro, train or bus) as car parking in the city centre is limited and expensive. Full directions and map to the workshop venue will posted here closer to the workshop.
Hotels
Sites such as expedia.co.uk and lastminute.com often have discounted deals for nearby hotels. Inexpensive backpacker style accommodation within walking distance of the city centre can be found at places such as Hosteling International. For the more adventurous, accommodation in private homes of widely varying quality and price may be available via AirBnB.com
Getting to Milan
Milan Linate (LIN) and Milan Malpensa (MXP) are the airports closest to Milan. You can take a bus (or train from Milan Malpensa) to the city centre. Hire cars are probably best avoided due to lack of parking. A taxi from an airport will be expensive.
Please do not hesitate to contact committee@iCubeSat.org if you have any comments or questions.
